The Stagg EKG Pro Studio

Same kettle. Materials worth looking at.

The Studio Edition is the Stagg EKG Pro with its materials traded up. Glass base instead of plastic. Zinc frame instead of a lighter alloy. A metal cap on the handle instead of molded plastic. The brewing feels identical because functionally it is identical: same 1200W heater, same to-the-degree temperature control, same gooseneck, same Guide Mode and scheduling and WiFi updates.

What changes is how it sits on the counter. The reflective glass base picks up the light around it. The metal touchpoints feel cold and deliberate in the hand. It's the difference between a tool that does its job and a tool you're happy to leave out in your kitchen.

The Pro and Pro Studio Edition use the same base hardware, which means their kettles and bases are cross-compatible. If you already own a Pro base, a Studio kettle drops right onto it. If you own a Pro Studio base, a Pro kettle works too.

The Studio is the Pro with nothing added and nothing removed. Just better materials in the places your hand touches.

Glass top on an aluminum base

A reflective glass surface on the base changes how light moves across the countertop. Small detail, real difference.

Same as the Pro. Anywhere from 104°F to 212°F in 0.5°F increments, held to the degree while you pour.

How it works

How you actually use it.

Fill with cold, filtered water. Set it on the glass base. Turn the dial to pick a temperature or cycle into Guide Mode or scheduling. Press the dial to confirm. The kettle heats and chimes at your set point.

Lift the kettle off the base to pour. Set it back down when you're done, and the hold timer keeps the water at temperature for as long as you configured.

Warranty

Two years standard, three with registration.

The Stagg EKG Pro Studio ships with a 2-year standard manufacturer warranty. Registering the kettle with Fellow extends coverage to 3 years at no cost. Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship.

The kettle is designed for water only. Milk or other liquids will void the warranty because the heating system is tuned for pure water and dairy will damage it quickly.
