We're not looking for the most popular roaster or the most decorated. We're looking for roasters who have something to say — through their sourcing, their process, or the relationships they've built with producers. The bar isn't prestige. It's conviction.

Direct relationships with the people growing the coffee. Not just sourcing transparency, but ongoing partnerships — visits, premiums, communication. The story starts at origin.

A roasting philosophy you can articulate and defend. Whether process-forward, single-profile, or terroir-driven — roasters who have made deliberate choices and can explain why.

We send a film crew. There should be a story worth telling — a space, a practice, a community, or a philosophy that gives the documentary real substance. The coffee is the reason. The film is the record.

Cinematic documentary
We travel to your roastery with a film crew, produce a full documentary feature, and deliver a library of cinematic assets you keep. Travel, production, and editing covered.
Brew guides & editorial
Roaster-led video brew guides for each coffee, plus photography, tasting notes, and extraction data. Content your subscribers and your own audience can use.
Direct-to-subscriber reach
Your coffees ship directly to subscribers who have opted into depth — people who read the tasting notes, watch the film, and follow the roaster after the month ends.
No cost to you. Origin & Story covers all production expenses. We handle the film crew, travel, editing, and content distribution. You provide the coffee and the story.

Application
Tell us about your roastery, your approach, and a coffee you're proud of. We read every submission personally — no form letter responses.

Conversation
If there's a fit, we reach out within two weeks to learn more. No commitment at this stage — just a conversation about who you are and what a partnership could look like.

Planning
Together we select the coffees covering the processing spectrum, plan the film shoot, and map out the feature month. We work around your calendar and harvest timing.
04
Feature month
Your coffees ship to subscribers. The film and brew guides go live in the Member Portal. The content library belongs to you.
