The producer

Sudan Rume, hops, and a master fermenter.

Edwin Noreña is a third-generation coffee producer, trained agronomist, certified Q-grader, and sought-after Cup of Excellence judge. He's known for borrowing fermentation techniques from the wine and beer worlds.

Little Waves first cupped this Sudan Rume in August 2024 and committed to bringing it to the 2025 menu. The cup is sweet, creamy, floral, and incredibly aromatic. Lingering and complex.

We cupped this in August 2024 and instantly fell in love.
