The Luxe Brewer Glass

Batch brewing that meets the standards set by the coffee itself.

The Luxe Brewer Glass is built around a simple idea: a drip machine should meet the same standards we apply to hand brewing. Water temperature, bloom, contact time, and flow should all be dialed in, not left to guesswork. Breville has done that work here, and the machine carries SCA Golden Cup certification to prove it.

One-touch brewing handles the routine cup. When you want to dig in, Custom Brew lets you adjust bloom volume, bloom time, brew temperature, and flow rate. You can save your preferences and return to them each morning. A programmable timer schedules a brew up to 24 hours out, so the first pour is ready when you are.

The glass carafe sits on an integrated heater plate that holds coffee at 175°F for up to six hours without boiling flavor out of it. A 60 oz removable tank with a wide lid makes filling easy, and the integrated Claro Swiss water filter protects both the machine and the cup.

A drip machine that earns the same scrutiny as the coffee going into it.

Filter choice matters, and Breville ships the Luxe Brewer with both options so you can decide. Cone filters lean into fruit and acidity. Flat-bottom baskets pull out florals, nuts, and chocolate. Research from UC Davis and the Specialty Coffee Association backs the difference. A reusable mesh basket is included for paperless brewing.

Cold Brew mode brews a concentrate in under 30 minutes, which is useful when the weather turns or you want iced coffee without planning 12 hours ahead. Everything lives behind a clean interface with a dial and small screen, and the whole machine is designed to look at home on a counter you actually care about.

Eight things to know

Built for brewers who care how the coffee got into the cup.

01

SCA Golden Cup certified

The Luxe Brewer meets the Specialty Coffee Association's Golden Cup standard for brewed coffee, based on decades of research into temperature, extraction, and balance.

02

Custom Brew profiles

Adjust bloom volume, bloom time, brew temperature, and flow rate to match the coffee in front of you. Save profiles and return to them with one touch.

03

Cold Brew in under 30 minutes

A preset cold extraction mode brews concentrate quickly so you can pour over ice without an overnight wait.

04

Programmable delayed start

Set a brew to start up to 24 hours in advance. Water, beans, and filter go in the night before. Coffee is ready when you walk into the kitchen.

05

Integrated heater plate

The glass carafe sits on a heater plate that holds coffee at 175°F for up to six hours without pushing the flavor past its peak.

06

Dual filter baskets

Cone and flat-bottom baskets are both included, along with a reusable mesh basket. Different shapes pull different flavors out of the same coffee.

07

60 oz removable tank

A 12-cup water tank lifts out for easy filling at the sink. A wide lid reduces splash and measuring lines help you dose water by eye.

08

Claro Swiss water filter

An integrated water filter sits inside the tank and protects both the machine and the flavor of every brew.

How it works

A measured approach to every stage of the brew.

The Luxe Brewer heats water to your chosen temperature, then meters it out through a shower head that distributes evenly across the bed. A bloom phase wets the grounds and gives CO2 time to release, which opens the coffee up before extraction begins in earnest.

From there, flow rate determines how quickly water passes through the bed. A slower flow gives water more time in contact with coffee, pulling out body and sweetness. A faster flow emphasizes clarity. The Luxe Brewer lets you choose.

You can run the whole thing on a preset and get a reliably clean cup, or pull the settings apart and tune them to the roaster and origin in front of you. The machine supports both.

Who it's for

For the batch brewer who wants pour-over standards.

The Luxe Brewer is for coffee drinkers who want a carafe in the morning but refuse to give up the precision they get from hand brewing. It replaces a standard drip machine for anyone who reads roaster notes and wants the machine to do them justice.

It also suits subscribers who brew for a household or guests, where batch volume matters and hand-pouring for multiple cups stops being practical.
