The Dual Boiler

The machine home baristas build their workflow around.

The Dual Boiler has a following, and the following is there for a reason. Two independent stainless steel boilers, each under PID temperature control, let the machine extract espresso and steam milk at the same time without either stealing capacity from the other. That's the same separation professional machines use.

A 58mm professional portafilter at 22g gives the machine a large, stable puck and opens up the full ecosystem of aftermarket baskets, distribution tools, and tampers. If you want to nerd deeper later, the hardware accepts it.

An over-pressure valve helps prevent bitter shots caused by runaway pressure. Low-pressure pre-infusion wets the puck before extraction begins. The group head is heated. None of these features are flashy; all of them shape the cup.

Two boilers, one workflow. Extract and steam in parallel, the way a café does.

The interface is deliberately restrained. An LCD and a pressure gauge tell you what's happening during the shot, and a small set of buttons handles 1 shot, 2 shot, and manual volumetric control. No touchscreen, no presets to relearn. The Dual Boiler is the kind of machine where the barista runs the process, not the other way around.

The included 58mm razor dosing tool lets you level the puck precisely, and a heated group head keeps extraction temperature steady across back-to-back shots. This is a machine built for someone who brews multiple drinks at once, or for a couple where both people pull their own espresso.

Nine things to know

Built for the home barista who wants to run the show.

01

True dual boiler

Two stainless steel boilers, each under PID control. One handles espresso, one handles steam, so extraction and milk happen in parallel.

02

PID temperature control

Electronic temperature management keeps the brew boiler steady shot after shot. The heated group head carries that stability through to the puck.

03

58mm professional portafilter

22g dose capacity in a commercial-standard 58mm portafilter. Opens up the full aftermarket of baskets, distribution tools, and tampers.

04

Low-pressure pre-infusion

The machine wets the puck at lower pressure before stepping up to 9 bar extraction. Even saturation, less channeling, more body in the cup.

05

Over-pressure valve

A mechanical limiter on pressure prevents the spikes that push shots into bitterness. Protection built into the hardware, not just the software.

06

Powerful steam wand

A dedicated steam boiler drives a wand built for microfoam. Steam on demand, not on queue, so milk texture stays in your hands.

07

LCD and pressure gauge

The interface shows temperature, shot time, and live pressure. You read the machine the way a barista reads a commercial lever.

08

Shot control options

One-shot, two-shot, and manual volumetric control. Set the volumes that match your routine and let muscle memory take it from there.

09

Integrated tamper

An integrated tamper sits on the machine for consistency shot to shot. The 58mm razor dosing tool ships in the box.

How it works

Two boilers, one workflow.

One boiler holds water at brewing temperature under PID control. The second boiler holds water at steaming temperature, separately. The two are fully independent, so pulling a shot does not pull capacity away from the steam wand, and texturing milk does not pull heat from the brew.

Extraction runs through a heated 58mm group head at 9 bar of pressure, with low-pressure pre-infusion first. The over-pressure valve keeps the peak in check. The integrated tamper and razor dosing tool handle puck prep.

For back-to-back drinks, the machine recovers fast because it never had to choose between brew and steam in the first place. That's the workflow difference between a dual boiler and a single boiler with a thermocoil.

Who it's for

For the home barista who wants a workflow, not a menu.

The Dual Boiler is for people who want to pull shots the way a café pulls shots: grind, distribute, tamp, lock in, pull, steam in parallel, pour. It doesn't hide the process. It rewards practice.

It's also a strong fit for households where two drinks need to hit the counter at the same time without one of them going cold waiting for the steam wand.
