The Bambino Plus

The Bambino Plus is a small machine with a specific philosophy. It doesn't have a built-in grinder, and it doesn't need to. Paired with a dedicated grinder, it pulls shots that stand up to machines two and three times its size, and it does so from a footprint small enough to live on a crowded counter.

A ThermoJet heating system reaches extraction temperature in three seconds. Plug the machine in, and by the time you've weighed your beans, it's ready to pull. Breville reports up to 32% less energy annually compared to a Thermoblock, which also means the machine isn't quietly warming the kitchen all day.

The Plus version adds hands-free automatic milk texturing. Three adjustable milk temperatures, three texture levels, and powerful 266°F steam create microfoam without you holding the jug. Manual texturing is still available for anyone who wants to work the wand themselves.

How it works

Pair it with a grinder and go.

The Bambino Plus heats water in three seconds via the ThermoJet system, so first shot is available almost immediately. Grind and dose on your grinder, tamp, lock into the 54mm portafilter, and pull.

Extraction runs at 9 bar from a 15 bar Italian pump, with low-pressure pre-infusion to saturate the puck. A 200°F brew temperature holds through the shot.

For milk, insert the probe, hit the milk button, and walk away. The automatic wand textures to your chosen temperature and level. Manual texturing remains available through the same wand when you want to handle it yourself.
